On June 20, 2024, the ban on the import, production, and sale of electronic cigarettes in Kazakhstan came into effect. The law prohibits the import, production, and sale of smokeless tobacco products, electronic cigarettes, electronic cigarette seasonings, and liquids in Kazakhstan, and prohibits the use of electronic cigarette trademarks and names for advertising.
